The Pacific department store, which opened ten years ago, will officially close its customers in October 25th. Previously, due to the absence of public opinions on the handling of returns and exchanges of goods after closure, some consumers questioned it. In addition, many consumers still hold Pacific Scorecard and Prepaid Card, the city's industrial and commercial departments issued "Administrative Tips" to two Pacific department stores respectively, demanding that they settle the possibility before delisting. The existing product quality problems such as refund, replacement, repair and so on, include cash card and stored value card.
Reporters in the Pacific Wukesongdian VIP Center on the 4th floor yesterday saw that customers came in succession to "change gifts", but there are not many kinds of gifts to choose. Staff told reporters that at present only know that the closing time of PCCW store is October 25, but the closing time of Wukesong store has not been notified.
"Pacific department store has developed a score card, group buying prepaid card solution, and reported to the industry and Commerce Office for the record." Xu Weibin, director of Tuanjiehu Institute of Commerce and Industry, where Pacific Department Store PCCW is located, said that in order to avoid damaging the rights of consumers, the store promised the industry and Commerce Department a two-stage announcement plan and a "bottom-up" clause.
The first stage is the current "card-friend exchange gift". The second stage is that the card-friend's points will be converted to 22:00 on October 25. Some consumers'consumption vouchers will be converted to 22:00 on October 12 and used to 22:00 on October 19. The refund of prepaid cards that consumers have not had time to spend will be from 9:00. The month begins on 23 and ends on October 25th.
And the "bottom-up" clause is that in case consumers have follow-up returns and exchanges, prepaid card refunds and other issues, after the closure of the Pacific Department Store will still have a "after-sales office", working hours can be extended to September 30, 2012.
